Our Process
Strip down
We have designated strip down areas that are strictly kept clean and tidy. Each engine is disassembled and the cause of failure is diagnosed, recorded, measurements are taken and a plan to move forward is formed.
Cleaning
We have 5 stages of cleaning which include a Kerosene wash, Agitated Kerosene bath, Aqua Blasting, 200ltr Ultra sonic hotwash and a 400ltr Aqua M320 hotwash, all of which are maintained and serviced regularly only using the latest chemistry to provide the best cleaning procedure possible. Every solution we use is equipped with rust/corrosion inhibitors. Once parts have been through our meticulous cleaning process they are as clean as new.
Engineering Works
We polish, skim, hone and bore in house – we do not like to rely on the workmanship of outsourced engineering companies where we cannot control the quality of their work, their tooling and machinery or the time they take.
Assembly Works
We assemble our engines fastidiously in a temperature controlled clean room that is kept immaculate, completely free of contaminates or hazardous materials. All tools used for measurement and assembly are the best available. All our engines are assembled with thick Lucas assembly oil and pressure primed with engine oil to avoid dry starts. Measurements and weights are continuously taken through the assembly process. We follow the manufacturers building procedures to meet the manufacturers specification.
